Acer has announced new laptops in their thin and light Swift line of Notebook PCs, specifically the Swift 3 and Swift 7. They have been updated with Intel’s latest 11th generation Core processors, Intel’s Iris Xe graphics and the Acer Swift 5 has even been verified as an Intel Evo platform notebook design.
To be verified as an Intel Evo Platfrom notebook design, the Acer Swift 5 comes with many features such as instant wake, Intel Iris Xe graphics, vibrant displays, all-day battery life and the latest in connectivity. The laptop weighs in at about 1Kg and it sports a 14-inch screen with a peak brightness of 340-nits and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut.
For internals, the Swift 5 can be configured with either a 11th Gen Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7 processor, which have been tuned to provide users with a battery life of up to 17 hours.
The Acer Swift 3 is the smaller sibling of the Swift 5, featuring a 13.5-inch screen with resolution of 2256 x 1504 in a 3:2 aspect ratio that has peak brightness of 400-nits. Similar to the Swift 5, the Swift 3 can also be configured with 11th Gen Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors, up to 16GB of LPDDR4X memory, has support for WiFi 6 and it features Windows Hello via a fingerprint reader.
The Acer Swift 5 (SF514-55) with 11th Gen Intel Core processors and a 14-inch Full HD display will be available in North America in November starting at $999.99 (Approx. Rs. 73,353). The Acer Swift 3 (SF313-53) with 11th Gen Intel Core processors and a 13.5-inch 2K display will be available in North America in November starting at $799.99 (Approx. Rs. 58,682). The Acer Swift 3 (SF314-59) with 11th Gen Intel Core processors and a 14-inch Full HD display will be available in North America in November starting at $699.99 (Approx. Rs. 51,347).
