After doubts about the will
Dispute over Lisa Marie Presley’s inheritance ended

In the process of Lisa Marie Presley’s inheritance, her daughter Riley Keough and her mother Priscilla Presley are said to have reached an agreement. The dispute over a questionable change of will is probably off the table. However, the lawyers did not reveal any details.

Priscilla Presley and her granddaughter Riley Keough and are said to have settled in a lawsuit over the legacy of the late Lisa Marie Presley. This is reported by several US media, including the broadcaster CNN, unanimously. “The parties wish to report that they have reached an agreement,” Priscilla Presley’s attorney, Ronson J. Shamoun, told Judge Lynn Scaduto in the Los Angeles court. Both parties should now submit a corresponding application by June 12 in order to seal the agreement, it is said. Details of the agreement were therefore not discussed publicly. Another hearing was scheduled for August 4th.

“The families are happy,” Shamoun told reporters outside the courthouse. “Everyone is happy, united, together and looking forward to the future.” Keough’s attorney Justin Gold also confirmed to the broadcaster that the actress was “very satisfied”. The case is about the legacy of Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Priscilla Presley and the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” Elvis Presley. Lisa Marie died earlier this year at the age of 54.

Misspelled name in will

At the end of January it became known for the first time that Priscilla Presley wanted to contest an amendment to her daughter’s will from 2016. These apparently removed the deceased’s ex-manager, Barry Siegel, and her mother from the trust. New wealth managers were to become Lisa Marie Presley’s eldest children, Riley and Benjamin. Benjamin had died about three years ago. According to CNN, the mother of the deceased claimed that the amendment to her will was not served on her while she was alive. In addition, Pricilla’s name was misspelled in the document and the authenticity of Lisa Marie’s signature was doubtful. According to the report, the change was not notarized.

Lisa Marie Presley died on January 12, 2023 after suffering cardiac arrest. The exact cause of death is still under investigation, CNN reported, citing the Los Angeles coroner.
