Xiaomi has also laid out its roadmap for the MIUI 13 rollout, where the company said that 10 of its smartphones in India will get the latest MIUI 13 update in Q1 2022. With MIUI 13, Xiaomi smartphones will get a new optimized file storage system that will enhance the read and write speed of files stored in your Xiaomi smartphone after 3 years. This, the company has named “liquid storage”. The new RAM optimization in MIUI 13, called “Atomized Memory”, will increase the background process efficiency on Xiaomi smartphones by up to 40 percent. Apart from this, there is a new Smart Balance feature that will extend the battery life of Xiaomi smartphones by up to 10 percent.

Xiaomi revealed that MIUI 13 will be available starting from the first quarter of 2022 for devices including Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, Mi 11X Pro, and Mi 11 Lite. The list also includes Redmi smartphones like Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10, and Redmi 10 Prime, which will continue to receive updates during the same period.
