OPPO Carlink solution, Sense algorithm announced at ODC 2022
OPPO started up its 2022 OPPO Developer Conference (ODC), unveiling its Pantanal cross-platform smart system, the OPPO Carlink solution for improved smartphone-car integration, and the OPPO Sense health algorithm, as well as an INR 23 billion plan to support developers and creators working with OPPO. Let’s take a closer look at these OPPO-developed technologies.
As part of the developer conference, more than 300,000 developers and 700,000 creators are said to have joined forces with OPPO to offer their goods and services to customers on a number of platforms.
The OPPO Open Platform can help developers with things like app services, graphics processing, and networking. OPPO also said that it would put INR 23 billion into its Gravity Plan in 2023 to help developers build an ecosystem that works well together.
Also, the company said that in the last three years, all IoT categories have grown by more than 120% and have been introduced in more than 50 countries and regions.
OPPO Pantanal cross-platform smart system
Pantanal, OPPO’s first cross-platform system designed to connect and collaborate devices, was introduced at ODC 2022. With cross-device sensing and computing, Pantanal can better understand and anticipate user needs. Pantanal, as a cross-platform system, will assist developers in developing and deploying services across multiple platforms, lowering costs and increasing efficiency.
OPPO Carlink solution
OPPO developed OPPO Carlink to enhance smartphone and vehicle integration since more people are using smart devices for in-car services and entertainment. OPPO Carlink facilitates collaboration between the auto and smartphone industries.
Without changing the in-car infotainment systems, users can access a smartphone’s computing power and app ecosystem. Smartphones can also push software to the vehicle.
OPPO and SAIC Motor collaborated at ODC 2022 to integrate cars and smart devices. To use its smartphones as digital keys for the Model 3 and Model Y in China, OPPO and Tesla China previously reached an agreement.
OPPO Sense algorithm
The OPPO also said that the Sense algorithm, which the company made on its own, will be available for the first time. This algorithm makes it easier to track sleep, fitness, and cardiovascular health. OPPO will also work with international partners to improve IoT connectivity and make health management software, hardware, and services.
Updates from OPPO’s first Innovation Accelerator, which ended on August 29th, were also shared. This year, the programme was made so that tech experts and business owners could work with OPPO to build a better future.
Ten winning submissions from 536 total submissions from 39 different countries and regions examined creative approaches to the problems of accessible technology and digital health. The ten winners will also get help from OPPO and its partners to develop and carry out their ideas.
In the ODC 2022 event, Pete Lau, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at OPPO said,
We will live in a world where smart devices are everywhere. These smart devices should not be simply connected but integrated to serve users and help realize the future of the Internet of Experience. As we continue to transform into a company with its technology ecosystem, we look forward to joining hands with global developers and partners to build an open, symbiotic, and thriving ecosystem for all.
