Samsung launches The Sero 43-inch rotating TV in India for Rs. 1,24,990
Earlier this year during CES 2020, Samsung introduced a rather interesting take on the TV design, showcasing a very unique TV that could rotate to display both horizontally and vertically. The TV, called The Sero, is Samsung’s vision for a future where vertical content, primarily smartphone content can be viewed on TVs without the annoying black columns, and now they have launched The Sero in India.
The Sero comes with a All-in-one Stand on which the 43-inch QLED display is supported for both its vertical and horizontal orientations. In the horizontal orientation, the Sero behaves like a regular Samsung Smart TV, perfect for movies and shows. With a tap on the bezel, the TV will change its orientation to vertical, optimizing it for mobile content like apps and social media.
The TV viewing experience is further enhanced with 4.1ch 60W front firing speakers and the embedded base-enhancing woofers for a great sound experience too. Other features for the TV include Ambient Mode+, Portrait Mode, an Always On Display mode, Active Voice Amplifier (AVA), and more.
Samsung The Sero comes in a Navy Blue colour and will be available exclusively in Reliance Digital stores for a price of Rs. 1,24,990.
Commenting on the launch, Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung India said:
With The Sero, we want to tap in to the social media generation. With consumers now using their TVs in different ways than ever before, including scrolling through social media, watching the latest viral videos or binge watching their favorite OTT shows, we wanted to redefine their content viewing experience by moving it to a bigger screen. The Sero has been designed to seamlessly adapt and enhance whatever content the user is watching, bringing in a more optimized experience to consumers.
